I love vintage drawings like this-- so clean, and classic, and almost like a film! I love that the foreground characters have a story relating to the background ones. It appears the boy is walking happily to school, while the girl is looking back, quizzical, at the kids playing behind them. Perhaps that's her best friend, and she's wondering what's going on with her running off with a fellow schoolmate? Endless possibilities for stories, and this is a great entry :-D
